To those of you who want to watch something different, Flawless may be the one for you. I LOVE the entirety of the movie, though the pace may be somewhat slow, but the tension builds until the end and what I love about the movie is that it also gave me some surprises. Plus I salute the brilliant acting combo of Demi Moore and Michael Caine.

The Story:

Set in 1960 London, a career woman named Laura Quinn (Demi Moore) has been trying to climb up the corporate ladder in London Diamond Corp, but she’s again disappointed since the position she’s after is given to another man. Yes, she’s very competent, but it’s tough to be a career woman at that period of time if she wants to reach the higher positions at the office.

A janitor of the company, Mr. Hobbs (Michael Caine), has been noticing many things while working there for years. He knows that Laura is displeased, so he tries to talk to her about his scheme to rob the diamonds kept in the safe of the company. At first Laura feels agitated about this plan, but after a while she decides to go for it.

Their plan is threatened to fail as the company starts using surveillance video cameras around the offices just as they are about to execute their plan. Will they succeed? Will they be caught? Why does Mr. Hobbs think of such a plan? Is it just because of greed? You’ll figure it all out at the end of the movie.

1. I LOVE the setting of the movie. It really sets the tone of the movie. Other than the brilliant acting of Demi Moore and Michael Caine, you’ll also get to see Demi Moore becoming a VERY old woman he he he…

2. I don’t know why, but this movie is VERY memorable for me. There are just some scenes that are literally stuck in my head. Yes, it’s THAT powerful. For all of these reasons, I’ll give this movie 7.8 out of 10 stars, even though in imdb it’s only rated as 6.8.
